Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th of November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast in history to get a flawless score of 10 during an Olympic competition. Bela Karolyi later Romanian Gymnastics Coach discovered Comaneci as she was only six years old. First competing in the national junior championships in Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. And in 1970, was crowned champion. She took home three golds at her very first contest in a junior pre-Olympic meeting in 1972 for the communist bloc nations. In 1973 and 1974, she became the junior champion in all-round competitions. She took home four gold medals and one silver medals at her debut competition as a senior, held in 1975. It was the first time she participated as a senior. The first female to complete a reverse double salo with the bar with a parallel surface when she won the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career in the world of entertainment began in her teens when she began doing figure skating with her younger sibling Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show that were known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol's first job was in entertainment as a teenager. As a young girl she was the figure skater alongside Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. The shows featured ice skating which included stage performances.
